New Covenant Church, previously known as Church on the Rock was started in 1988 in a small storefront in Kilgore, Texas. Pastor Stephen Warnock leads New Covenant with fresh vision to see Longview Texas and surrounding areas won for Christ and to see people’s hearts set ablaze for the Kingdom of God. Our mission is simple, we want all people to Know Jesus, Grow in Him, Discover their Purpose, and Change the World around them.

Growing up in ministry I’ve always had a heart for God and His people but never thought I would be a pastor. In 2004 I graduated from Oral Roberts University with a degree in media production but God had other plans. In 2006, I received the greatest gift from God in my incredible wife Tandra and since then He has blessed us with three beautiful girls. Together we have had the honor of leading this church since 2019 and are excited about what God is doing in the lives of people here at New Covenant and in East Texas!
As a church we believe the best days are ahead as together we help people Know Jesus, Grow In Him, Discover Purpose and Change Their World! We believe that God places people in a spiritual family and it’s our heart to see you find your place here in the family of God. We love you and are excited to be on this journey with you!
